Children from Bierton School – together with their peers from Haddenham St Mary’s – were able to try out a huge range of keep-fit activities during a special sports day.
Pupils spent 15 minutes with each activity, including football, tennis, martial arts, body combat, gymnastics, zumba and space hopper racing.
It was all put together by Reflexions gym, with assistance from the likes of Aylesbury United, Aylesbury Tennis Club, Matt Fiddes Martial Arts and Ignite Gymnastics, with bottles of water for the children donated from Angel Springs.
The day was held at Bierton School and the kids from Haddenham were bussed in.
Club manager at Reflexions, Lou Harrison, whose daughter attends Bierton and who is friends with the headteacher at Haddenham, said: “We like to give back to the community and promote the value of healthy lifestyles to young people.
“It was aimed at getting all the kids active in some kind of sport, particularly those who might not belong to any of the clubs or who lack confidence.
