Hide AdTring Radio has since become the fastest growing Radio Station in the South East of England, with a large team of volunteer presenters and is run entirely as a non-profit based station.
Any proceeds from its local business sponsors, advertisers or listener donations over and above the running costs of the station are donated to its chosen local charities or good causes.
During the early stages of Tring Radio it was decided that Tring Radio would focus firstly on DENS Foodbank based in Tring and Dacorum, because charities especially foodbanks were running out of stock.
Foodbank volunteers were finding it difficult or impossible to staff the warehouse because of lockdown and equally lockdown presented food banks with increased demand from the public as well as increased costs of PPE and safety equipment for both staff and users.

"DENS do a great job helping rebuild lives across the Dacorum and Hertfordshire area and need constant fundraising and donations throughout the year, especially in these difficult times and we have been pleased that our listeners and presenters have been happy to help."
