A wannabe Ninja Pastor who presides over an Aylesbury church is through to the semi finals of TV’s Ninja Warrior.
Kane Dick, 27, who lives in Quarendon appeared on the prime time show on Sunday.
And he beat tough competition to be win a place in the semi finals of the gruelling show, taking the course in his stride.
Speaking before the programme aired the former Sir Henry Floyd student, said: “I’ve always been a fan of the programme ever since I saw the Japaneese version when I was a kid, I grew up with it.
“I never thought that it would come to the UK, so this is a bit of a dream come true.”
Kane’s heats were filmed in August in front of a live audience at the Manchester Convention Centre.
And his congregation at Potter’s House Church couldn’t be happier for hi and were glued to their TV sets on the night. Kane, who lived in Reading for 8 years before returning to set up the church, said: “ I did get to talk about the church on the show, which was a bit of bonus.”
