Young business stars of future

Future Alan Sugars and 
Deborah Meadens were handed special awards - as part of the Young Enterprise competition.

Three groups from Aylesbury vale set up their own businesses for the contest - with ideas ranging from self-cahrging mobile phones to dining products made from slate.

Each company was subjected to an in-depth interview by fivfe judges, who admitted that it was very tricky to decide on a winner.

John Colet’s Are We There Yet? Team won the award for most innovative product, with their CD for entertaining children on long car journeys.

Aylesbury Grammar School’s Simplyv Slate team took home the award for Best Stand, while pupils from Sir Henry Floyd, who sold recahrgeable mobile phone cases under the brand name Revival, took home the overall runner-up prize.

The ceremony took place at The Open University in Milton Keynes, and featured pupils from schools across Buckinghamshire.
