Construction will start later this month on new traffic lights in Aylesbury’s Tring Road as part of the Arla mega-dairy development.
The work will involve putting traffic signals in at the Oakfield Road and King Edward Avenue junction on the A41.
Later this year work will also be done to improve the Broughton Lane junction on the A41.
The works are part of the requirements for planning permission being given for the site off the Aston Clinton bypass.
Construction starts on January 21, with all of the work and landscaping due to be completed by the summer.
The lights will provide a crossing point and help with traffic flow, Arla says.
Signs will be put up on the A41 to keep people informed of start and completion dates. The road will stay open to all users throughout the works and the majority of work will take place during the day, outside peak hours. Arla has apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.
The £150 million dairy is due for completion later this year and is expected to create around 700 jobs.
