Try your hand at predicting the outcome of the World Cup this summer to be in with a chance to win £1,000 – all while raising money for a hospice.
Rennie Grove Hospice Care is calling on sports fans to pay £10 and answer a series of questions online to guess the match results of this year’s World Cup.
Each right answer is awarded points, and the person who clocks up the most will be the winner. They’ll scoop the £1,000 cash prize and a year’s worth of free bets on other sporting fixtures courtesy of betting firm Spreadex.
Runners up in second and third place will receive £750 and £250 respectively, all while raising money for a service that provides 24-hour care for patients’ suffering with life-limiting illnesses in their own homes.
The charity’s corporate fundraising manager Colin Ivey said: “We’re asking everyone to take part and to encourage friends, colleagues, suppliers and customers to do the same.
“At just £10 entry it’s a great way to join in the football fun this summer and raise much-needed funds for local hospice care.
If 1,000 people enter, we could raise enough to fund 500 hours of specialist nursing care in patients’ homes.”
