Kindly Waitrose staff got stuck in to help redecorate a centre for homeless people.

Staff volunteered at Aylesbury Homeless Action Group, a charity which helps those who are facing nights on the streets.

The charity provides a number of services, including a drop-in scheme where case workers can provide practical help including access to healthcare, showers and washing clothes.

A spokesman for Aylesbury Homeless Action Group said: “We have been extremely grateful to Waitrose, who as part of their Community Matters programme, have provided us with a fantastic team to paint a room on our premises.

“This is enable us to provide a lounge to clients offering them a safe, welcoming environment.”
