Thieves broke into a home in broad daylight and stole several rings of ‘extreme’ sentimental value.
An engagement ring, wedding ring, gold christening bangle and a signet ring bearing the initials SL were taken in the raid at the property on Manor Drive, Stewkley.
It is believed the offenders forced entry to the house between 8.30am and 6.30pm on Monday, said police today (Thursday).
Investigating officer Det Con Emma Francis from Aylesbury police station said: “Some of the items stolen are of extreme sentimental value and we are keen to get them back.
“We are appealing for any witnesses who saw anything, especially vehicles or anybody suspicious in the area of Stewkley on the day in question.
“We would also like to hear from people who live nearby that may have CCTV. Anyone with information please contact me via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.”
