Florence Nightingale Hospice has collected a cheque worth £1,000 from staff at Marks & Spencer.
The money was raised by staff from charity events over the last few months ranging from cake sales, a bike ride and activities in the High Street store.
Fundraiser Claire White accepted the donation today and was ‘delighted’ to receive the funds on behalf of the hospice.
She said: “This is a terrific donation which reflects the ongoing generosity of the Marks & Spencer team here in Aylesbury and local shoppers.
“Thank you to Dorothy Smith and all the staff involved for this fantastic effort.”
The hospice celebrates its 25th year with a musical gala in June, a flower festival in August and a thanksgiving service in October.
