Talents of trainees from aromatherapy to stage make-up were put to the test at Aylesbury College.
The college played host to the regional heats of the 2014 WorldSkills UK competition last week.
Further education students from across the south east took part in the event where they were assesed on workplace skills and excellence in their chosen trade.
The 88 entrants took part in challenges, designed to find out whether they have got what it takes to make it.
Karen Mitchell, principal of Aylesbury College, said: “The WorldSkills competition is a great opportunity for students to showcase their talent and helps to prepare them for future careers.
“It has been a pleasure to host WorldSkills at Aylesbury College and the event has been throughly enjoyable for competitors, staff and students.”
