Seven men charged over offences which include child abuse images and sexual activity

Seven men have been charged with sexual offences against a young girl.

The investigation, called Operation Royce, started in 2014 under the Sexual Offences Act 2003.

This week a number of men have been charged with various sexual offences in connection with the investigation.

Stephen McMillan, aged 26, of Viridian Square, Aylesbury, was arrested on 3 November 2014 and charged on Monday (18/4) with one count of causing/inciting a child aged 13-17 to prostitution/pornography, one count of making an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child, one count of distributing an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child, and one count of possession of an extreme pornographic image portraying an act of intercourse/oral sex with a dead/alive animal.

Nemanja Meletic, aged 24, of Mount Pleasant Road, London, was arrested on 10 February last year and charged on Tuesday (19/4) with one count of causing/inciting a child aged 13-17 to prostitution/pornography, and six counts of making an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child.

Steven Douglas, aged 21, of Fennels Way, Flackwell Heath, was arrested on 10 February last year and charged on Tuesday (19/4) with two counts of offender 18 or over engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15.

Charlie Merefield, aged 20, of Rosebery Avenue, High Wycombe, was arrested on 10 February last year and charged on Tuesday (19/4) with three counts of offender 18 or over engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15.

Alex Foale, aged 20, of Green Dragon Lane, Flackwell Heath, was arrested on 12 February last year and charged on Wednesday (20/4) with two counts of being an offender 18 or over engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15.

Nathan Tilly, aged 23, of Boddington Road, Wendover, was arrested on 10 February last year and was charged on Wednesday (20/4) with two counts of being an offender 18 or over engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15.

Ryan Squire, aged 22, of Coaters Lane, Woburn Green, was arrested on 10 February last year and was charged on Wednesday (20/4) with three counts of being an offender 18 or over engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15.

Ryan Henry, aged 22, of Blackamoor Lane, Maidenhead, was arrested on 10 February last year and was charged on Wednesday (20/4) with two counts of being an offender 18 or over engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15, one count of taking an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child, one count of causing/inciting a child 13 - 17 to prostitution/pornography, and two counts of making an indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child.

They have all been released on bail to appear at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on 7 June.

The offences are alleged to have taken place between 2008 and 2015 and relate to one victim.

Seven other men arrested in connection with the investigation have been released without charge.
