The Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness Club has raised £500 for the Florence Nightingale Hospice through a Kardy-O-Party event at the Grange School.

The evening was organised by Joanna Beardsmore-Dilks, who runs the Rosemary Conley class in Aylesbury.

Mrs Beardsmore-Dilks said: “The Kardy-O-Party saw 80 of us enjoy the latest fitness craze.

“We were delighted to be joined by special guest instructor Kardy Lagunda and we raised £425 for the hospice which was great.”

The other £75 was made up of a personal donation from Mrs Beardsmore-Dilks.

Ruth Early, Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity (FNHC) events fundraiser said: “On behalf of all of us at FNHC, I would like to thank Joanne and her wonderful members for a fantastic year of continued support.”

Mrs Beardsmore-Dilks added she was looking forward to continuing to support FNHC in 2014.

She said: “Here at Rosemary Conley we are looking at how to support the hospice in its 25th anniversary year.”
