Charitable pub quiz fans will be spoilt for choice this month and can compete to raise money for the Florence Nightingale Hospice.
Over 25 local establishments will host a quiz to raise money for the hospice’s charity, which needs to raise over £600,000 this year to keep essential in-patient and at-home Hospice services running for local families affected by life-limiting illness.
Events will take place in Thame, Tring, Whitchurch, Wendover, Dinton as well as Aylesbury itself.
The quiz extravaganza is the mid-way point of the charity’s silver jubilee celebrations, which kicked off last October with Strictly Florence – a star-studded ballroom dancing event, which raised £20k.
And registration for Florence Nightingale Midnight Walk officially opens on Saturday in Friars Square Shopping Centre.
The walk takes place on Saturday, July 12 and has raised more than £250,000 for the hospice.
Twenty-five silver ballot places for male walkers will also be up for grabs.
Development and events manager Karen Shardlow, said: “We have always been very fortunate in the support we have received from local pubs and are overwhelmed by the response to our March Madness month.
“Thank you to all those pubs who have signed up for this special quiz month.”
