Police step up patrols after boy, 9, sexually assaulted in Aylesbury

A nine-year-old boy was sexually assaulted in Aylesbury by a pervert who then drove off in a car.

Between about 3.15pm and 3.35pm on Tuesday (February 9) two nine-year-old boys were walking down Ingram Avenue when they were approached by a man who touched one boy inappropriately over his clothing.

The man then got into a car and drove away.

Police said the culprit is a man in his thirties with dark hair.

He was wearing dark clothing.

Investigating officer, Det Con Melissa Lee from the Child Abuse Investigation Unit based at Aylesbury police station, said: “If you witnessed this offence or have any information please contact police via the non-emergency number 101.

“We are conducting a thorough operation and urge any witnesses to come forward.

“We have carried out a house to house and officers have been conducting high visibility patrols in the area, to provide reassurance, to receive information and answer questions as appropriate.”
