This week we ask whether Aylesbury MP David Lidington should resign as Europe Minister to enable him to vote against HS2 in the Commons.

Mr Lidington has come under increasing pressure to vote against HS2 in Monday’s Commons vote – but going against the government line would spell the end for his government role.

The Europe Minister says his ministerial position gives him a powerful voice to influence HS2 policy from within the government.

Last week we asked whether you if Watermead Parish Council is wrong to hold a funfair as part of its plans to mark the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War later this year.

65% of respondents answered ‘Yes’ while 35% said ‘No.
