A man was given first aid on the roadside by passing firemen this morning after he collapsed in the street.
It is believed the crew were driving along Exchange Street, Aylesbury, on their way back to the station on Stocklake after a routine call and spotted the man in trouble at 11.39am.
They were able to administer first aid and move the man to a safe place while a member of the public called the ambulance service.
It is believed the man is diabetic and the collapse was related to this condition. Paramedics arrived on the scene and rushed him to Stoke Mandeville Hospital for treatment.
