Nurses at Royal Bucks Hospital have gone unpaid ahead of its imminent closure.
It is the second time such an incident has occurred since the hospital announced it was winding down in August.
Steve Bell, branch secretary of Bucks Health Unison, said: “Workers at Royal Bucks are extremely angry about what has happened with this health provider and how they have been treated.
“Members not only face an uncertain future following redundancy and whether they will be able to secure employment elsewhere, but now they also find that as a result of not being paid for a second time that they have incurred additional expenses and some are worried about how their landlords will react to having their rent late.”
Some nurses have been paid while others were told they will be paid this week after a meeting with owner Dr J Clarke.
