Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service have thanked the public for taking extra care during this morning’s strike.
Firefighters were not called to any incidents in the county during the period of industrial action between 6am and 8am.
Chief operating officer Jason Thelwell said: “During periods of industrial action, we have good contingency plans in place so that we can continue to respond to emergencies. Once again, the public’s vigilance has been much appreciated.”
It was the second period in four days after Friday’s strike between 6.30pm and 11pm.
The strikes were announced in October by the Fire Brigades Union, which is in dispute with the Government over pensions.
