Lloyds Pharmacy has marked its move to new premises in Aylesbury by launching an alternative approach to community health.
The company opened its expanded store in new premises on the High Street on January 9 and pharmacy manager Kevin Cheng said it was well received.
Mr Cheng said: “We have seen a big increase in the number of customers since our move.
“It is one of only 70 in the country which offers a n alternative, more customer-focused approach.”
The new approach is designed to improve access to customer healthcare and support, while the pharmacy also offers free services for a range of conditions including skin health and pain management.
Mr Cheng said: “We are delighted to be one of the pioneers in a project that will help to raise awareness of local healthcare needs.”
The ribbon for the new store was cut by Diane Gardner, the longest serving member of staff at the pharmacy, who has worked there for 34 years.
