Restaurant chain Nando’s opens in Aylesbury on Wednesday.
The restaurant, famous for its flame-grilled per-peri chicken, is located in The Exchange, near the Odeon cinema and one door down from Wagamama’s, which opened last week.
It will seat 122 guests at any time and is creating 45 new jobs, ranging from cashiers and grillers, to assistant managers.
Dean Boiles, regional managing director of Nando’s said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be opening our doors to our new restaurant in Aylesbury – a town which has been on our radar for a while now.”
“The Exchange site is a great location, and will offer shoppers, cinema-goers, locals and visitors to the area a fantastic Nando’s experience!”
In Nando’s style, bright, African inspired artwork is featured throughout the restaurant.
This week Nando’s has held a number of preview events so its new staff gain experience before the official opening.
It is believed that Zizzi Italian restaurant will open in the middle unit between Wagamama’s and Nando’s, though this has not been confirmed by the chain.
