The driver of a milk truck that crashed into an Aylesbury home yesterday ‘suffered a medical episode at the wheel’, police have said.
Officers investigating the incident in Ellen Road said this had caused the driver to lose control of the truck and crash into the Witham Way home.
The driver was treated for minor injuries after the crash, which happened at about 9.25am. No one else was injured.
PC Rob Lyne said: “I would like to assure members of the public that such instances are rare, but will always be investigated to ensure that our roads are safe for both drivers and pedestrians.
“Fortunately no one sustained any serious injuries during the incident.”
The family who were living in the house have been told they will be re-homed by Monday.
