A marketing agency from Aylesbury is celebrating after winning the inaugural Federation of Small Businesses Award for Buckinghamshire.
Enterprise Marketing Solutions, based on Lavender Grange near Stoke Mandeville, was set up seven years ago by managing director Karen Moule with the objective of helping companies to raise their profiles.
Mrs Moule said that the agency’s mission was to deliver strategic marketing for businesses.
She said: “We help companies, both small and medium-sized, to identify their target markets, raise their profiles and engage better with their customers.”
The award was presented as part of the Aylesbury Vale Business of the Year event held at Horwood House, however this is the first year that the Federation of Small Businesses have held an award in the county.
Mrs Moule said the award was a reward for the agency’s continued growth.
She said: “We have continued to expand since we first started and this award feels like recognition for all the hard work we have done over the past year to grow the business in spite of the economy still being tough.”
The agency works closely with businesses in construction, manufacturing and engineering.
Their work varies from one-off projects such as business card reprints through to initial data analysis and marketing plans.
Mrs Moule, 45, said she believed Buckinghamshire was an inclusive county for businesses.
She said: “There are a wide variety of companies across Bucks and we are pleased that we are able to help them grow their brands and hopefully move on to greater successes.”
Mrs Moule, who has a background in graphic design, advertising and marketing added she was confident the agency would continue to flourish.
She said: “Looking forward, I am confident that we can continue providing advice to businesses across the area.”
