A man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after an assault in Aylesbury in the early hours of this morning.
The incident happened in Bicester Road at around 2am.
A 35-year-old man is in police custody on suspicion of GBH with intent.
There is a scene watch in place and officers are conducting enquiries in the area.
One person has been taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector David Dachtler said: “We understand that the two people involved in the incident are known to each other however the circumstances around the incident are still unclear.
“We do have a scene guard in place at the moment and would ask any local residents to contact us if they saw or heard anything at around 2am which might help with the investigation.
“Officers from the local neighbourhood team are carrying out enhanced patrols in the area and if anyone has any concerns please feel free to approach them to discuss these.”
