Families had fun in the sun at Aylesbury-based company Cinram’s annual summer fundraiser yesterday.
The firm, based on Rabans Lane, laid on a programme of fun activities for all ages in a bid to raise money for its chosen charity the PACE centre.
PACE educates and cares for children with motor disorders and supports their families at its Coventon Road site in Aylesbury.
Cinram first decided to support the charity after former employee Jorge Alves began working there as a learning support assistant and invited them along to see what they do.
The company’s secretary and vice president of human resources Europe Jim Brooks mingled with families and youngsters as they tried their hand at a penalty shoot out, hula hooping competition, Play Your Cards Right and chucking wet sponges at managers in the stocks.
Though final figures are yet to be announced, the total amount raised is expected to hit the £1,000 mark.
