A country fair is taking place on the Waddesdon estate for the first time this weekend.
Over the weekend there will be everything from a sheep show to a Spanish horse display and a dog show.
Oakleigh Fairs, one of the country’s premier providers of outside shows, is hosting the event on Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm.
Attractions will include the Chivalry medieval re-enactment group, terrier racing, birds of prey, a goat show, Punch and Judy and animal petting pens.
A Companion Dog Show will be an added attraction on Sunday. when canine friends are welcome to enter.
Aylesbury Concert Band, besom broom making, spinning, weaving and pole latheing will be on show.
Food demonstrations will take place in the show kitchen. And there will be plenty of food and drink on offer.
Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome within the show area only.
Other than assistance dogs, Waddesdon does not permit dogs within the main gardens or house.
Entry to the show is £7.50, concessions £6, children £3 and a family ticket costs £19 (two adults and two children).
Parking is free.
