Pauline Odulinski OBE, the former principal of Aylesbury College has officially handed over the reins to her replacement Karen Mitchell.
Mrs Odulinski spent 26 years as principal at the college, which has its campus on Oxford Road.
To mark her achievements at the college, its library has been renamed in her honour and will now be known as The Pauline Odulinski Learning Centre.
She said her proudest achievement at the college came last year when the latest Ofsted ratings were released.
She said: “My focus has always been to ensure students have an outstanding experience in education.
“I was thrilled that in my last year here the college was rated “Good” by Ofsted, which was just reward for the great efforts of staff to deliver that student experience.”
