Christoper Pallet estate agents are believed to be one of the first to highlight whether homes for sale are likely to be demolished by HS2.
The firm has seen an increase in viewings for numbers 28 and 30 Ellesborough Road in Wendover after making it clear on its adverts that the homes are likely to be compulsory purchased.
Those who buy the properties can expect to receive the full market value of the home, additional compensation (potentially up to £47,000) and money to pay for their moving costs.
John Hinton, partner at the firm, said: “There is no point in us offering this as a property for a lifetime.
“We are being very honest and saying that this property will almost certainly be compulsory purchased so don’t assume you will be still be there in 10-15 years.
“Obviously we are anti-HS2, but we are still selling houses at non-discounted prices.”
Mr Hinton says they have recently sold some properties at full price that will be just 250 metres from the line, although HS2 has put others off from moving to Wendover.
