Charitable housing trust workers have added to their fundraising total in aid of the Chiltern Air Ambulance.
In December staff at Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust organised events including a raffle, dress-down days a bingo game to raise £600.
This brings the total of funds raised so far to £3,000 since the trust started their charitable good deeds in 2008.
The latest cheque was presented to air ambulance crews at RAF Benson by the trust’s director of people and performance Kate Russell.
She said: “It is brilliant to have raised this amount of money for such an essential local service.
“I would like to thank all of our staff for digging deep into their pockets – they have made a fantastic effort in helping arrange and participate in raffles, dress-down days and even games of bingo.”
Oli Hiscoe, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes fundraising manager for the air ambulance, said: “Thank you to the Trust’s employees for such a generous donation.
“Unfortunately our helicopter was out on a vital mission attending to a road accident in Maidenhead at the time of Kate’s visit.
“However, without the financial backing of fundraising that goes on, like that of the trust, we wouldn’t be able to tend to all critical incidents like these.”
