Fundraising banners belonging to the Florence Nightingale hospice have gone missing from several locations around Aylesbury.
The banners were secured with fixed cables at Spar on Meadow way and on three roundabouts across the town - the junction of the A41, A418 Oxford and Gatehouse Roads; the Bierton Road roundabout on the corner of Douglas Road; and at the A418 Fairford Leys roundabout,
Community fundraiser Teresa King said the hospice always ensures that they have permission to display the banners and aim to take them down as soon as possible after the event.
“Both our recent beer festival and Aylesbury superhero banners, have gone missing in the last week, and it’s very upsetting for all concerned as we had these sponsored for our 25th anniversary year, which meant we could use them again next year.
“We are a very small team at Florence Nightingale Hospice, with minimal budget to spend on advertising so seek sponsorship for promotional items as and when we can.”
Anyone with any information about the missing beer festival and superhero banners should contact Florence Nightingale Hospice on 01296 429975 or email email@example.com.
The charity needs to raise over £600,000 this year to keep Hospice in-patient and at-home services running for local families.
