Have you been offered knock-off bikes?

Thames Valley Police

Thames Valley Police

Police want to speak to anyone who has been offered bikes for sale in a suspicious manner after thieves stole two bicycles worth thousands of pounds from a home.

The crooks took the road bike and mountain bike worth thousands of pounds from a house in Place Farm Way, Monks Risborough between 6.30pm and 8pm on Friday.

One was a Scott men’s CRI road bike in a matt grey colour. It has a carbon fibre frame, blue tyres, distinctive electric-blue bolts and a specialised saddle.

The second bike was a ladies mountain bike in white with purple branding, white handle grips, purple valve caps, front and rear mud guards and a white saddle.

If anyone has been offered bikes matching these descriptions or saw anything in the area at the time, they should contact Det Con Alex Kratky at High Wycombe local CID on 101.
