A 16-year-old girl has been punched in the face and robbed by a man in Aylesbury’s Vale Park, police have said.
After hitting the teen, the man ripped a necklace off her and ran away towards Lower High Street.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and released on bail until January 20 in connection with the incident.
The robbery happened between 4pm and 5pm on December 9, police said today (December 16).
The man who carried out the attack is described as white, around 30 years old, tall and slim.
He was wearing glasses and a dark coloured jacket.
The stolen necklace was gold-coloured with two linked hearts, one with diamond style stones.
