A family received a property boost after appearing on a Channel 4 home improvement show.
Edward and Louise Croft Baker and their two young children had their home renovated on television show, Double Your House for Half the Money, featuring Sarah Beeny.
Prior to the show screening tonight, Mr Croft Baker, of Easington, Long Crendon, said: “Initially we were unsure about what the effect might be.
“But now the kids have got their own room each. Before they could bounce from wall to wall. It’s a real life changer.”
The work, which cost £200,000 and took five months to complete, saw the Croft Bakers build a rear extension, side extension and double the number of bedrooms to four.
Mr Croft Baker paid tribute to the team behind the transformation. He said: “It was difficult just trying to co-ordinate everything to get it done on time.
“Everyone pulled together, though.
“We were even outside paving at three in the morning, the day before the reveal happened.”
Mr Croft Baker said the presence of the cameras made it feel as if someone was holding a mirror up to them for 20 days.
After filming finished on August 30, the father of two said they would hold a special show screening for all their neighbours.
The programme airs tonight on Channel 4 at 8pm.
