Warren Whyte, councillor for planning and environment at Bucks County Council, said: “It is quite extraordinary how the new Pokémon Go game is encouraging millions of fans to get off their sofas and step out into the great outdoors.

“Our beautiful country parks offer an amazing environment to enjoy the game, hunt for those rare characters and do battle with like-minded people.

“And, as ever, there’s an amazing range of special activities to keep the whole family entertained during the school summer holidays.”

Fans are reminded to take care while playing Pokémon Go around roads, lakes and other obstacles.
