The Sainsbury’s supermarket in Aylesbury hosted free blood pressure checks for shoppers today (Monday).

The Buckingham Street store adopted the Stroke Association as its charity of the year after one of its employees Sara Ladyman, 22, suffered four strokes on Boxing Day last year.

Sara returned to work at the store in March where she said they gave her ‘fantastic support.’

As part of the year-long partnership, free information and blood pressure checking events, charity collections, information stands and other activities will be held at the store.
