Things are on the up at Pebblebrook School following their best ever set of exam results according to headteacher David Miller.
100% of pupils achieved qualifications this year, the best set of results that the school has ever had.
Mr Miller said: “We are absolutely delighted with these results. The school really has transformed recently and that is as a result of all staff, parents and governors pulling together.”
100% of pupils in Years 10, 11 and 12 achieved qualifications, and there was also a 100% pass rate in new qualifications including construction and small animal care.
There were also high numbers of pupils passing at Level 1, the highest grade attainable, across a range of courses.
89% of pupils achieved a Level 1 in GCSE short-course PE while 100% of pupils achieved a Level 1 in the Certificate of Personal Effectiveness.
The school for special needs pupils is also hopeful of coming out of special measures this term.
Year 10 pupil Ryan Cripps said: “I am absolutely delighted with my results so far. I look forward to staying at Pebblebrook and achieving more.”
