Man recovering after weekend assault in Aylesbury

A MAN who was assaulted on Saturday night in Aylesbury cannot recall the incident.

Detectives are now appealing for witnesses after the assault

It took place between 3am and 3.20 when the 21-year-old was assaulted near to the taxi rank by the bus station in Market Square. He required medical attention after sustaining facial injuries.

Det Con Nick Busby, investigating the incident, said: "Unfortunately the victim does not recall the assault, so we do not have any description or know how many offenders where involved in the attack.

"I am appealing to anyone who may have seen the victim around the time of the incident or witnessed the assault to contact me."

The victim is white, slim and has short dark hair. He was wearing navy blue jeans, a blue jumper with red and white stripes down the arms and white trainers.
