A 29-year-old has been charged with a string of offences including shoplifting and possesion of a bladed article.
Timothy Davey, 29, of no fixed abode, was arrested and charged on Friday, April 10 with eight separate offences, including:
> Two separate counts of vehicle interference in Parmiter Close and Howletts Close in Fairford Leys on Thursday, April 9.
> One count of possession of a bladed article in Briskman Way, Aylesbury; one count of vehicle interference in Drake Close, Aylesbury and one count of theft from a motor vehicle in Thomson Close, Aylesbury on Friday April 10.
Davey was also charged with three separate counts of shoplifting at Sainsbury’s, Buckingham Street, on Thursday 2 April, the Co-operative on Hannon Road on Sunday, March 8 and Asda in Mandeville Road, on Sunday 7 December 2014.
Davey was remanded at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, April 11 to appear at the same court on Thursday, April 16.
PC Neil Anns from the local neighbourhood policing team said: “During the course of our investigation it became apparent that all of the victims in this case had left their vehicles unsecure.
“I appeal to motorists to please lock your vehicles and remove belongings when it is parked.
“It is deeply frustrating for us to investigate, and it makes life easy for the offenders.”
