Woman fights off crook in attempted Aylesbury robbery

A woman required hospital treatment after fighting off a robber in Aylesbury.
The crook tried to take the woman’s handbag but she fought him off, suffering bruising and a cut lip during the incident.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested and bailed until March 8 following the attack in Friarscroft Way at around 6.30pm on Tuesday.
Anyone with information about the incident should contact police on 101.
