The Statutory Adopted Plan is the Aylesbury Vale District Local Plan (AVDLP) (January 2004)

AVDLP is published in two parts:

Part I - the Written Statement and Conservation Area map insets

LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK

In 2004 the government introduced new legislation which changed the way the Development Plans will be produced and the form they will take. In future, Local Plans will no longer be single documents, but will be replaced by Local development Frameworks (LDF's) which will be made up of a collection of shorter documents.

Work has begun on the Aylesbury Vale Local Development Framework (which will ultimately replace AVDLP). The first part of the LDF is the Local Development Scheme (LDS) which is a timetable for the new LDF covering the period 2005 - 2008. It sets out how and when the different parts of the LDF will be produced. The Local Development Scheme has now been approved, can be purchased for 5.00 (+0.75 p & p). or is available free from our web site by going to :
