Vale two-car smash up leaves four needing treatment

FOUR people were taken to hospital after a two-car crash in Edlesborough on Saturday.

A blue Renault Clio and a black Ford Ka were involved in the collision on the A4146 Leighton Road at around 2.55pm.

Four people, all from the Renault Clio, were taken to hospital as a result of the collision. The most seriously injured, a 39-year-old man, was airlifted to Stoke Mandeville Hospital suffering from a fractured leg and facial injuries.

A 23-year-old man suffered lacerations to his face and head and a 22-year-old man and another 23-year-old man suffered minor cuts and bruises. All three were treated at Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
