UPDATED: Man who died after being struck by train at Monks Risborough is named
Craig Preston, 38, of Oakfield Road, High Wycombe, was pronounced dead at the scene after he was hit by a train near Monks Risborough station.
Police were called to the incident at 10.47pm on Sunday.
The British Transport Police, Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service all attended the incident which occurred on the Aylesbury to Princes Risborough service.
Mr Preston’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
The line was closed before being reopened at 12.30am on Monday.
