A ‘reckless’ glass assault in a busy Aylesbury nightclub has left a teenager with face and neck injuries.
The 17-year-old was in Mirage when he was approached by another man and hit in the face with a glass or bottle.
The attack left the victim with wounds to his neck, face and mouth, which required stitches, and a chipped front tooth. He was treated at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and has been discharged.
The attacker was Asian, aged between 21 and 35, of skinny build, 6ft to 6ft 2ins, with medium-length black hair and stubble.
The incident took place at around 3am on Sunday.
PC Rebecca Neupert said: “This was a dangerous and reckless assault with a glass or glass bottle, which could easily have left the victim with more serious injuries. It happened in a busy nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning, close to the VIP area and dancefloor, so I believe there would have been people who witnessed the assault.”
