More than 100 people attended a conference at Aston Clinton to share knowledge and experience.

It was the third such conference organised by FACT Bucks (Families And Carers Together) and 70 of those present were parents or carers.

The speakers at Green Park were John Bercow MP who has a well known interest in children with special needs, and Mark Smith SEN manager at Bucks County Council.

Two workshops were held, one on early support led by health expert Andrea West and another on transitions led by Gail Hanrahan of the Oxfordshire Family Support Network.

FACT aims to improve services and support for young people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
