Man accused of Aylesbury road rampage and attacking police pleads not guilty

An Aylesbury man charged with offences including assaulting three police officers has pleaded not guilty in court.
Joby David Wells, of Highbridge Road, is charged with a range of offences relating to an alleged road rampage on November 25, 2012.
The charges include damaging a police vehicle and failing to stop when told to do so by a police officer in Bicester Road.
Mr Wells, 29, is also accused of dangerous driving in Broadfields and Buckingham Street, damaging another vehicle in Buckingham Street and failing to provide a breath test.
He is charged with assaulting the three officers at Berryfield Farm, Quarrendon.
The accused appeared in Oxford Crown Court on Friday morning (March 1) to enter his plea. He will now go on trial for the alleged offences.
