Hard-hitting Aylesbury prison TV documentary to air next month
An inside look at some of the country’s most dangerous young criminals serving time in Aylesbury airs next month.
The two part ITV fly-on-the-wall documentary, Her Majesty’s Prison - Aylesbury, will air on Monday February 18 with the second instalment a week later.
The first programme explores the relationship between prisoners and the second looks at the prison officers’ relationship with those convicted.
The jail holds male inmates between the ages of 17 and 21 with more than 10% serving life sentences.
A special preview screening hosted by BAFTA will air at the Princess Anne Theatre in London on tonight (Monday) with a Q&A session held with series producer and director Lee Phillips and creative and managing director Paul Hamann afterwards.
The screening will begin at 6.45pm with tickets costing £7.50.
