A man has been arrested and another questioned following two assaults in Princes Risborough.

The first took place when a man was assaulted by the bus stop area outside the George and Dragon pub in High Street at around 1pm on January 16, police said today.

Another man was attacked the following day at around 10pm as he walked near the Daisy Chain florists in High Street.

On Monday a man was interviewed in relation to the January 16 attack, while another man was arrested for the second assault. He has since been bailed while police continue their investigations.

Police say the assaults were caused by disputes within a small group of people and were not random attacks.

Anyone with information in relation to the incidents should call police on 101 and quote crime report number GJ/4191129/13. If you wish to remain anonymous you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
