Grotspots put under the spotlight
One of the many grot spots along the bridleway between Stonehaven Road and Bicester Road
The Bucks Herald’s campaign to get Aylesbury’s grot spots tidied up is gathering momentum, with readers highlighting new troublesome areas all the time.
Over the coming weeks we will continue to highlight bad areas and put pressure on whoever is responsible for them to do something about it.
Randal Cheney sent in a selection of pictures taken along the bridleway between Stonehaven Road and Bicester Road.
Mr Cheney said: “Horses can’t get down there because of the over-hanging tree, you can’t take your dog along there because of the broken class bottles and it’s dangerous for small children because of building waste such as piles of rubble and bricks.”
Ben Fox said while cycling he saw was a lot of rubbish along the Oxford Road to Stone and by the roundabout to Fairford Leys.
Please keep your suggestions coming to editor Roger Hawes and we will see what can be done about it. Email editor roger.hawes@jpress.co.uk with any grot spots you see.
