Gopher lab experience for youngsters at Aylesbury Grammar

Waiting for Video...

A GROUP of little ones were given first-hand experience of science at Aylesbury Grammar School’s new gopher lab.

Natalee Hazelwood brings you a video from the event.

The scheme based at the school aims to expose primary school students to exciting practical science outside of their normal classroom experiences.

Aylesbury MP David Lidington joined a group of eight-year-olds at the lab’s opening on Friday where they learnt to suck eggs into bottles, skewer balloons, make an ocean in a bottle, and use chromatography to solve crimes. The event was hosted by Matt Neill, teacher of chemistry.
