Four men have been jailed for drug offences after being arrested as part of Aylesbury’s biggest ever drug busts last month.
Paul Maginn, 38, of Hamble Drive, Aylesbury and Adrian McCarthy, 37, of Lynher Close, Aylesbury, have both been jailed for two years for supplying class A drugs.
Ashley Blake, 30, of Belgrave Road, Aylesbury and 27 year old Adam Freeman, of Oliffe Close, Aylesbury, have both been jailed for 18 months for supplying class A drugs.
All four pleaded guilty and were sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Monday.
A 17-year-old Aylesbury boy was given an 18 month supervision order, a six month curfew and ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work after admitting supplying class A drugs.
Det Insp Russ Murden said: “These are the first people to be jailed under Operation Sideline and it sends a strong message to the community that we have taken strong and decisive action against those involved in the supply of illegal drugs in Aylesbury. I hope that the sentences act as a deterrent to anyone else involved in this type of activity.”
