Delays after accident on busy through-road

A CRASH on Tuesday closed part of the A413 in Whitchurch – causing problems for early morning commuters.

A grey Landrover Discovery and red Toyota Prius collided just before 7am in the High Street.

The road was closed for a short time. An ambulance attended the scene, but no one was seriously injured.

Police confirmed that the road was fully-re-open just after 8.15am.

The cars were on the Wing road, not the A413. When I passed the only thing stopping the trafic was the ambulance which had been parked badly and a bobby who was acting as a stop go board to get the trafic round it. As no one was seriously injured, why not just move the ambulance and aviod delaying the traffic, numskulls?

So the traffic chaos all around the town this morning was all to do with a 'prang' in Whitchurch? I don't think so!!
